I am brand new to coding and have been working in VBA and SQL. I have been unable to write or find a code that I need. I want the code to be in a macor button in excel. The code needs to be able to search my outlook email and find three emails (The three emails have the same subject every day just a different date in the subject). The code then needs to be able to save the attachments from the email down on my desktop. I was wondering if this was even possible through VBA? I have looked on here for code and have seen some examples but I get multiple errors. I am just looking for a basic framework that I can then use to tweak and build upon. Sorry for the very entry level questions and post with no example code but like I said I am brand new.

Likewise, there are many user queries where users have reasons to extracts data from Outlook. Some want to extract attachments, and some want to extract contacts. Luckily, users have some options that they categorize into two categories, manual and automated solutions. Do you have any idea of how to achieve manual extraction of Outlook?

When you receive an email in Outlook with multiple attachments, you can save them individually to a directory on your system. However, saving each attachment individually takes time. Fortunately, Outlook also provides an option to save all attachments in a particular email at once.

But what if you want to save all attachments from every email? That may take several hours or even weeks if you have hundreds or thousands of emails, as Outlook does not provide an option for such a task.

There could be several reasons you may want to extract and save the attachments from the emails, such as investigation purpose, backup to the cloud, reducing the Outlook data file or increasing the mailbox storage, etc.

To save attachments in bulk from multiple emails, you can use Stellar Repair for Outlook software. Although the software is designed to fix corrupt or inaccessible PST files, it can also manage your Outlook attachments and PST files.

The technician version provides a compact PST file option that essentially extracts all the attachments from every email in your Outlook to a separate folder. The best part is that the attachments are interlinked, and thus, you can access all the attachments from the emails.

If you use Exchange or Office 365 email account in Outlook, you must export the mail items to PST file format via Outlook import Export wizard. This will export all the emails in a PST file from which we will extract the attachments.

There are several advantages of saving attachments in a different folder. We have a mailbox which will receive several (50+) emails per day with PDF attachments. In Outlook where you can select multiple emails and mark them as read/ unread etc, is there a way to (mark?) print all the attachments in one go? If not in Outlook is there any other way of going about this?

If you select all your emails, then go to Files ->Print -> Print options there is an option to print the attached files. Hit that then press print and you will get the email printed and the attachments. Only thing to watch out for is the attachments can only be printed to your default printer not the one you have selected.

I have 1 user who regularly saves up their emails and attachment then prints them all in one go, few hundred documents with different types of attachments (Word & pdf) and doesn't have any issues except running the printer out of paper. Outlook and Acrobat should be able to handle quite large volumes, possibly worth re-install to try fix the crashing?

Hi all, I also want to print all attachments from multiple emails, but JUST the attachments, not the actual emails. When I tested the above suggestion, I had no crashing problems, and it did print all the attachments (and together) but it printed all the emails too (together and first), and I don't want to waste paper/toner/time every month printing the emails which I don't need.

Make a folder called "temp" at root of c: drive. make top level folder in outlook (like on the same level as inbox, sent ...etc.) called "Whatever" . this name needs to be the same as named in the macro. Dump all the emails you want to print into that folder. run the macro.

It only prints the attachments of all the emails in the "folder", not the email messages. The way we have it configured it only does PDF files, but im sure you smart guys can figure out how to make it do whatever.

I'm def having this issue and this forum is the closest I've come to finding any sort of answer...sooo has anyone found anything new? I flatly refuse the print email bodies, it's just such a waste, and I haven't heard anything different about sperry printing only attachments instead of both. I don't know how to script but am checking with our IT guy to see if he can help. Lastly, the print page zero works but only for the first of multiple emails selected, the next however many are selected produce an error and don't print. :( Would be so grateful for any help.
