This API has a known issue where service principals are not listed as group members in v1.0. Use this API on the beta endpoint instead or the /groups/{id}?$expand=members API. Note the limitations of $expand on directory objects.

When an application queries a relationship that returns a directoryObject type collection, if it does not have permission to read a certain derived type (like device), members of that type are returned but with limited information. With this behavior, applications can request the least privileged permissions they need, rather than rely on the set of Directory.* permissions. This method supports the $filter, $count, $select, $search, $top, $search, and $expand OData query parameters to help customize the response. The default and maximum page sizes are 100 and 999 group objects respectively. Some queries are supported only when you use the ConsistencyLevel header set to eventual and $count. For more information, see Advanced query capabilities on directory objects.

An attempt to filter by an OData cast that represents an unsupported member type returns a 400 Bad Request error with the Request_UnsupportedQuery code. For example, /groups/{id}}/members/microsoft.graph.group when the group is a Microsoft 365 group will return this error, because Microsoft 365 groups cannot have other groups as members.

In the Google Admin console, you can view all members of a group (direct and indirect) in a single list. If groups are members of the parent group, they appear in the list as members. Members of groups nested in other groups appear as indirect members of the parent group. If a member belongs to the parent group and another group nested inside the group, they are direct and indirect members.

Use the members list to review all members of a group, including banned members. However, to find out whether a member is banned or identify a member's role (owner, manager, or member), go to the group in Google Groups.

If you add a group as a member of another group, there may be a delay of up to 10 minutes before the child group's members appear as members of the parent group. In addtion, the API returns an error for cycles in group memberships. For example, if group1 is a member of group2, group2 cannot be a member of group1.

The optional roles query string is a filter allowing you to retrieve group members by role and the resulting role collections are in the order given in the roles filter. All members are returned in the alphabetical order of the members' email addresses. And use the pageToken query string for responses with large number of members. In the case of pagination, the response returns the nextPageToken property which has a token for the next page of response results. Your next request uses this token as the pageToken query string value.

A successful response returns an HTTP 200 status code and the list of member information. The id is the member's unique membership ID. There is a nextPageToken for the follow-on list of group members in this response:

To delete a member's membership in a group, use the following DELETE request and include the authorization described in Authorize requests. The groupKey is the group's unique id, and memberKey is the deleted user or group member's primary email address or the user's unique id. When a member is deleted: Members you remove no longer receive email addressed to the group. Removing a member from a group does not delete the user's account. If you delete the group owner, the group still works normally. As an administrator, you can manage the group or assign ownership to another group member

I have what I'm hoping is a simple question to answer, we have multiple groups of servers that patch monthly with Ansible Tower. The morning prior to a group being patched I have Ansible send out an email to the respective groups that would work on those servers so they are aware prior to the patches.

Currently, I have the playbooks written manually where I have typed out the name of every server in each group, but as groups grow and change, this becomes a pain as I'm having to edit these playbooks each time.

I'm using Ansible Tower, so the inventory in my original question is dynamically created from VMware and I use tags on the VMs in vCenter to create groups in my Ansible inventory, so rather than using the dynamically created inventory and having a massive output of groups and servers, I used a static "test" inventory with one server in it. I created a few different test groups and left some of them empty and populated others with the test server.

How do you now filter this output down to a single group? Currently using this method it just prints all groups and their members. I want to be able to tell Ansible to select, for example Test_Group_3 and list it's members in my email body.

Tuckman's original work simply described the way he had observed groups evolve, whether they were conscious of it or not. In CORAL, the real value is in recognizing where a team is in the developmental stage process, and assisting the team to enter a stage consistent with the collaborative work put forth. In the real world, teams are often forming and changing, and each time that happens, they can move to a different Tuckman Stage. A group might be happily Norming or Performing, but a new member might force them back into Storming, or a team member may miss meetings causing the team to fall back into Storming. The initial forming stage is the process of putting the structure of the team together. Team members feel ambiguous and conflict is avoided at all costs due to the need to be accepted into the group. Team members look to a group leader for direction and guidance, usually CORAL project guides.

In order to progress to the next stage, group members must move from a "testing and proving" mentality to a problem-solving mentality. The most important trait in helping teams move to the next stage is the ability of team members to listen to their team mates - what are they trying to say?

The major task function of stage three is the data flow between group members: They share feelings and ideas, solicit and give feedback to one another, and explore actions related to the task. Creativity is high. Collaboration emerges during this stage when team work ethic and shared leadership is understood.

True interdependence is the norm of this stage of group development. The team is flexible as individuals adapt to meet the needs of other team members. This is a highly productive stage both personally and professionally.

The Performing stage is not reached by all groups. If group members are able to evolve to stage four, their capacity, range, and depth of personal relations expand to true interdependence. In this stage, people can work independently, in subgroups, or as a total unit with equal competencies.

In this stage typically team members are ready to leave (course termination) causing significant change to the team structure, membership, or purpose and the team during the last week of class. They experience change and transition. While the group continues to perform productively they also need time to manage their feelings of termination and transition.
