A nice one to try for linux would be SKDownloader. It is a download accelerator having an excellent gui with themes support (not sure how many would be using it though ? ). It is fully free and unlike other download accelerators, it allows you to choose the number of simultaneous connections you can make and it is not limited to 3 or 4 which is the case with most others. hi, i have the same question/problem. doing research b4 buying laptop based on drivers(linux; suse/ or ubuntu) avail for gpu/ videocard options; yes am newb to linux, want to learn/use. want to partition hard drive for 1. (first volume/partition, c:) linux, and 2. (second volume/partition, d:) win xp pro /or win7, heard of third partition for win backup/recov; was recommended to make linux the first volume installed/ and for boot up, to help everything else function right. no results for linux drivers for intel gma 4500mhd; had no results for linux drivers search for nvidia ge force g105m videocard(videocard w/ dedicated/discrete video mem much prefered over integrated video mem) for lappy, though nvidia site showed outside support for nvidia linux drivers. only good results was for ati radeon hd3200, which had avail drivers for linux, x86 and x86_64,(no info re, SuSE).
