Now this issue only happens on the Solar Wall Light. I also have some Solar step lights in the same light Group. Even with Light Schedule enabled at night for the step lights, they DO increase brightness when motion is detected. Furthermore, they also trigger the Solar Wall Light to increase brightness since they are in the same group, but not the other way around.

For any other neighbors having the same concern, try testing the light brightness during schedule and motion in a completely dark environment, where there is not any lighting nearby. Increasing the light sensor threshold is another great step to rule out any lighting interference. To increase the light sensor threshold:

It has nothing to do with having ambient lighting or being in complete darkness. The reason your motion + light schedule starts working after you adjust the brightness threshold is because any update to the settings like this one will make motion+light schedule work for THAT night. The next night however, will stop working again.

I just bought ring solar wall light and I have the same problem. Using ring bridge solar path lights work as they should but wall light detects motion and does not get bright. Will be returning since this post is old and the issue has not been fixed.

to fix the problem go to Light Settings: Light Sensor and disable Prevent motion from activating this light during the day. If you have the setting on and if there is ambient light from other lights or from your neighbor, the light will think it still daytime and it will not turn on when sensing motion. The draw back is that now your light will turn on when it senses motion even during the day. Ring could have designed the settings for the lights a little better.

I purchased 2 solar wall lights, 1 - May '22 and 1- June '22, both were charged fully and installed in direct sunlight 6+ hours of the day - Solar charging seemed to work for about 2 weeks then I noticed that the solar charging stopped working, batteries levels are dropping every day even during a cloudless day. Has there been any issues discovered with the solar charging system. Very disappointed that both lights are experiencing the same issue and seem flawed. Any guidance would be great. Thank you.

I also purchsed the same Direct Wired barrel plug too but my wall light solar does not charge at all. I have two units and doing the same not charging. The only way to charge is use the usb cable and take down the light to chage.

Additional Information

The power cord of the Tip Wall Lamp can be routed backwards from the lamp through the mounting surface. Please note that the base of the lamp is smaller than a standard junction box and that the lamp is not designed for direct installation on the top of the junction box. When hardwiring, we recommend mounting onto a false wall, onto a headboard or using a trim plate. Please refer to local safety requirements for this type of installation.
