Create and customize your very own avatar.  Give your avatar a voice by phone, microphone, uploading a file, or by using the text to speech feature.  The free version of Voki allows users to create an audio message up to 60 seconds long.

Vocarro

Vocarro allows you to record and email a voice message.  Vocarro is free to use; however, you will need a microphone to record your message.

AudioPal

This free tool allows you to add an audio message to your website.  You can choose from over a hundred voices.  You can record a message over the phone or with a microphone, use AudioPal's text-to-speech feature, or upload your own mp3 files.

Blabberize

With Blabberize, you can upload an image, give the image a mouth, and make the image talk.  Blabberize lets you record a message over the phone or with a microphone.  You can also upload an existing audio file.

Animoto

Choose a video style, insert some photos, add music (choose from 300+ tracks), add some text, and you can create a 30 second video for free (additional pricing plans enable longer videos and other options).

Magisto

After you create your free account, upload your videos and photos.  To finish your movie, choose your theme, music, and effects.  Add your title, and you are ready to watch your new movie.
