My name is Amanda Perez Chewning. I grew up in Cranford, New Jersey where I fell in love with teaching thanks to outstanding elementary teachers. I attended The Pennsylvania State University for Human Development and Family Studies and graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in English and a concentration in secondary education. I graduated from William Paterson University in May 2022 with Honors from their M.Ed Program in Curriculum & Learning.
As a school library media center specialist, I'm eager to utilize my strong background in culturally responsive teaching, differentiated and individualized instruction, and technology integration to serve the students at Dover High School!
