We are pleased to announce a special event at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Animal Psychology aimed at fostering networking among early-career researchers. Please register using the registration form sent via the google form. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 1, 23:59 (JST).
Added on Oct. 3: 30 people have registered for participation.
This gathering is an informal meeting where early-career researchers can present and discuss their work in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy light snacks while chatting freely about research!
The event will be held in a hybrid format, and participation/presentations from remote locations are welcome.
Participants with children are welcome.
Researchers of any career stage who wish to connect with early-career researchers are also encouraged to join.
Undergraduate students, graduate students (including those who have withdrawn from programs), and researchers within 10 years of receiving their Ph.D. are welcome to present.
Participation is possible both on-site and online.
Talk topics can be anything related to research (e.g., advertising a conference talk, seeking collaborators, asking for feedback, discussing challenges in research life, introducing an exciting research topic, etc.).
Presentations are expected to be about 5 minutes including Q&A (may vary depending on the number of presenters).
Please send 1–2 presentation slides to the Young Researchers' Network (dousinwakate@gmail.com) by Wednesday, October 8.
On the day of the event, you can present either on-site or via Zoom.
Anyone is welcome to attend as an audience member, either online or on-site.
Contributions of local snacks or souvenirs to share are very welcome!
