Welcome to my translation site.
I am a Canadian-American who lived in Japan for a total of 6 years. Today, I have 26 years of experience as a full-time translator. I received an award in Japan for my translation in the major English-language newspaper, The Daily Yomiuri, as well as in a competition sponsored by a large Tokyo translation firm. My education in business at Canada's University of Western Ontario and in Japanese at the University of British Columbia, has also given me a solid foundation of knowledge to draw upon.
I am a member of the
Japan Association of Translators and the American Translators Association.
