UtafitiLink is a platform that enables researchers in Kenya to share their proposals and receive crowdfunding from individuals, institutions, and organizations. The platform is designed to promote transparency, collaboration, and innovation in the research space. 

 Problem it Solves

Many researchers lack access to funding or visibility. UtafitiLink bridges this gap by connecting them to funders through a secure and user-friendly portal.

I designed the UtafitiLink platform using Figma, focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and responsiveness. The platform includes user flows for researchers, crowdfunders, and administrators.

Key pages include:

• Landing Page: Introduces the platform and highlights its benefits.
  
  

• Login/Register: Simple forms with clear roles (Researcher/Crowdfunder).
  
  

• Researcher Dashboard: Upload projects, track funding, manage profiles.
  
  

• Crowdfunder Dashboard: Discover and fund research projects, view history.
  
  

• Admin Panel (Preview): Moderation tools and project oversight.
  
  

I used auto layouts, component variants, and prototyping tools to simulate user interactions. The designs emphasize a clean interface with mobile responsiveness and smooth navigation to enhance user experience.

 These code snippets reflect best practices in component-based architecture, API communication, and UX-focused design in React development.
