How do I play Dots & Boxes?
Players take turns drawing a line between two adjacent dots. Complete the fourth side of a box and you claim it, score a point, and get another turn. When the board is full, whoever owns the most boxes wins.
Who is DABI?
DABI is your AI opponent. DABI plays at three difficulty levels — Easy, Medium, and Hard — and reacts to the game with a range of moods and expressions as you play. Hard mode is a real challenge: DABI uses advanced endgame tactics, so you'll need to think ahead.
Can I play with friends instead of DABI?
Yes. The game supports 1 to 4 players on the same device, so you can play solo against DABI or pass-and-play with family and friends.
What board sizes are available?
There are 20 levels, ranging from a quick 2×2 grid up to a 22×22 challenge. Use the level picker to choose the size that suits you. On larger boards you can zoom and pan to navigate the grid comfortably.
How do I turn off the sound?
Tap the mute toggle to switch sound effects on or off at any time.
Can I change my line colour?
Yes — you can pick your pen colour before or during a game.
