Science Experiments to introduce The Universal Model
Hands-on Science Experiments for students of all ages. This is the ideal introduction into The Universal Model - A New Millennial Science (or UM) specifically Volume 1 The Earth System. This exciting and revolutionary book uses experiments to help people understand the world in a whole new way.
Classes are from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 on the first three Tuesdays in February and March.
Feb. 5th Exploring Unknown Substances Experiment - Learn the recipe of the Universal Scientific Method (USM) by following its steps to identifying unknowns ingredients. At the end of this class the ingredients will create Hydrofountian Crater Cakes (aka pancakes).
Feb. 12th Growing Crystals in Water Experiment - What conditions do crystals form in?
Feb. 19th Friction-Heating Experiment - We explore plate tectonics and scientific research to answer: Where does lava comes from?
Feb. 26th No class
Mar. 5th The Cube Experiment - Training your brain to think like a scientist and exploring the concept of fundamental truth.
Mar. 12th Simulating Sandstone Experiment - We use salt crystals to cement sand grains together forming sandstone.
Mar. 19th Balloon in Microwave Experiment - Discover where high and low pressure weather come from.
The founder of Do True Science, Allan Wade, is passionate about making the UM easy for elementary through high school students to see and learn. He has been teaching the UM at American Family Education (AFE) over the past four years. He selected these six key lessons that demonstrate the most important, sample sub-chapters in the UM. This shortens the students reading to only 79 pages instead of 800.
We encourage families to have a copy of the Universal Model textbook as they will get more out of the class by reading along. The instructor can help you get access to the textbook or you can use the coupon code: DoTrue at UniversalModel.com to purchase your own copy.
Currently each Do True Science student is paying $50 per month, even if they are siblings. We are offering an AMAZING special at half that rate and additional family members including parents are free! That is $25 a month for the whole family. This elective class is open to the public, you don't have to enroll in AFE. Simply email laurie@afamilyedu.com to register for this class.
