Dosevera is a medication reminder and personal treatment logbook developed to help users record medicines, treatment schedules, doses, reminders, and related personal information.
Dosevera is not a diagnostic or prescribing service. It does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medicines, or make treatment decisions for the user.
Dosevera may store information that you choose to enter into the app, including:
Medicine names
Active ingredients when available in the local medicine catalog
Treatment phases
Dose information
Frequency and reminder times
Treatment start and end dates
Dose history
Stock and expiry information
Optional medicine photos
Emergency information that you choose to enter
Other information required to create and manage your medication reminders
This information is used to provide the medication reminder and personal treatment logbook features.
Dosevera's core medication data is stored locally on your device in the current version.
Dosevera does not require you to create an account to use its core medication features.
Your medication records are not uploaded to a Dosevera server as part of the core medication functionality.
If you use Android device backup or device-transfer features provided by Android, the handling of backed-up or transferred app data may also be subject to Android and Google services.
Dosevera may request camera access when you choose to scan a medicine package or prescription.
The camera is used only when you request a scan.
Dosevera may also allow you to choose an existing image from your device.
OCR is used to recognize text from medicine packages and prescriptions.
OCR results are only suggestions or recognition results and may contain errors.
You must review OCR results before saving a medicine or treatment.
Medicine and prescription images may remain stored locally when you choose to keep them as part of your medication records.
Images used temporarily for scanning are not intended to be retained after processing unless you choose to save them as part of your records.
Dosevera contains a local medicine catalog that can be used to help identify medicine names and related information.
Catalog matches and medicine suggestions are provided for convenience.
A catalog match does not mean that Dosevera has confirmed that a medicine is appropriate for you.
Dosevera does not automatically decide which treatment you should use.
You remain responsible for reviewing the information before saving it.
Dosevera may display informational notices or safety references related to medicines.
These notices are provided for information only.
They are not medical advice, diagnosis, prescription, or a recommendation to start, stop, change, or replace a medicine.
If you have questions about a medicine, dose, interaction, or treatment change, consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist.
Dosevera uses Android notifications and alarms to remind you about medication schedules that you create.
Depending on your settings, a notification may display medication information.
You can control notification and lock-screen preferences through Dosevera and Android settings.
If you enable the option to show medication details on the lock screen, the medicine name, dose, and optionally the medicine photo may be visible while the device is locked.
If this option is disabled, Dosevera uses a more general notification without those medication details.
Dosevera may display advertisements using Google AdMob.
Depending on applicable consent requirements and your choices, advertising services may process certain device, advertising, and consent-related information to provide and measure advertisements.
Dosevera uses Google's User Messaging Platform to manage applicable privacy and consent choices.
You can manage available advertising privacy choices through the privacy options provided in Dosevera.
Google's handling of information related to advertising is governed by Google's applicable policies and privacy documentation.
For users in regions where consent is required, advertising requests are made according to the applicable consent status. Google's UMP documentation states that apps should update consent information on each app launch and check whether ads can be requested. Google for Developers
