Overview

DoseNest is a medication schedule and dose history app. It lets users create local profiles, add medications, view daily schedules, and log dose actions. This policy explains how information is handled by the app based on the current source code.

Information We Collect

DoseNest stores information that you enter in the app, including profile names, profile colors, medication names, medication form, dosage text, schedule information, archive status, dose log actions, dose times, notes, app settings, and the active profile selection. This information is stored locally on your device using Hive app storage.

DoseNest also uses Google Play Billing for voluntary in-app contribution purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. The app receives purchase status, product ID, and verification data from the billing service so it can complete the purchase flow.

The privacy policy screen opens a Google Sites policy page inside an in-app WebView. Loading that page requires internet access.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

DoseNest does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, health records from external services, or payment card details. The app does not include an account system, authentication, cloud sync, analytics SDK, ads SDK, or crash reporting SDK in the inspected source code.

How We Use Information

Local app information is used to show profiles, medication lists, daily schedules, dose history, settings, and reminders inside the app experience. Purchase information is used only to process voluntary contribution purchases and complete pending purchase transactions.

Data Sharing

DoseNest does not send your locally stored profiles, medications, schedules, dose logs, or notes to a developer-controlled server in the inspected source code. Purchase transactions are processed through Google Play Billing. The privacy policy WebView loads content from Google Sites.

Third-Party Services

DoseNest uses Google Play Billing for optional in-app contributions. The app also opens the privacy policy page through Google Sites in a WebView. These services may process technical information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Storage and Security

Your app data is stored locally on your device in the app’s storage area using Hive. The inspected source code does not implement custom cloud backup, custom server storage, or custom encryption for this data. Device-level security and operating system protections may apply depending on your device settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

DoseNest keeps local app data on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear all app data from inside the app, uninstall the app, or clear app storage through your device settings. The app includes a Delete All Data option that removes profiles, medications, dose history, and settings from local storage and recreates the default local profile.

Children’s Privacy

DoseNest is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information in the app, you can delete the local data from the device or contact support.

User Choices

You can add, edit, archive, or delete medications, manage profiles, log dose actions, change theme settings, open the privacy policy, make optional contributions, and delete all local data from the app settings. You can also control app storage by uninstalling the app or clearing app data through your device.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app changes. Updates should be posted at the policy URL with a revised effective date.
