I am Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) at the ifo Institut and LMU Munich, and a CESifo Research Affiliate. I currently serve as scientific coordinator of the CESifo visitor program.
My research interests are in international trade, economic geography and inequality.
Since January 2026, I am PI of the Leibniz Junior Research Group "GloBack" (1.3 million Euro, 2026-2031). The grant is dedicated to research on the causes and consequences of the backlash to globalization.
I am a University Tübingen (Germany) alumna and obtained my PhD in Economics at Tilburg University, Netherlands, in 2020. From 2020-2023, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at IRES, Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium. Here is a link to my CV.
