About me
I am a Postdoc at the Department of Accounting and Sustainability Reporting  (AccSus) at Goethe University Frankfurt.  My research investigates how managers communicate information to capital market participants through both language and vocal delivery. By leveraging advances in artificial intelligence, I seek to improve the interpretation of corporate disclosures and support better-informed economic decisions. I am a member of the TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency.

ccalign

Python package for timestamping conference call transcripts at the sentence level. Can be used to pre-process conference call audio and estimate response latencies (Ewertz et al., 2026; Heater and Reichmann, 2026). The python package “ccalign” is available at https://github.com/j-ewertz/ccalign.

FinVoc2Vec

Domain-specific vocal tone classifier trained on real-world conference call data. Can be used to estimate vocal tone (Ewertz et al., 2026). FinVoc2Vec is available at https://huggingface.co/waiv/FinVoc2Vec.
