Dormie ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is a golf tournament management app for organizing Ryder Cup–style events, team matches, side games, and scoring. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Dormie, you agree to this policy.
We only collect information needed to operate the App:
Account information: your email address and password (passwords are managed securely by Google Firebase Authentication; we never store or see your raw password).
Profile information: your display name, golf handicap index, and a 4-digit user code used to link you to events.
Golf activity: scores, round history, match results, and event/tournament details you create or participate in.
Money/side-game information: buy-in amounts, winnings, and payout figures that you or an event organizer enter. These are recreational tracking figures only — Dormie does not process, transfer, or handle any real payments.
We do not collect location data, contacts, advertising identifiers, or device tracking data, and we do not use third-party advertising.
We use your information solely to:
Create and manage your account.
Provide app features: events, teams, drafts, scoring, side games, and statistics.
Link players to events via the 4-digit user code.
Display your personal stats, match record, and money history.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Dormie uses Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, and Storage) to store and process data securely in the cloud. Your data is subject to Google's privacy and security practices. See Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App: Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, account credentials, and 4-digit user code. Past event results may remain with those events for other participants' records but will no longer be linked to your account.
Dormie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
