I am currently a Research Fellow in the Division of Population Health, Health services research and primary care, The University of Manchester and affiliated to the Productivity Institute.

I am also affiliated to the Department of Economics, NTNU.

My research area is applied microeconomics, with a focus on health economics. 

I am interested in understanding the formation of human capital and the social inequalities related to it. Within this scope, I have a strong interest in understanding individual decision-making mechanisms. Among my special interests are topics related to non-cognitive skills, youth, health behaviors, health insurance, mental health and the use of experimental methods.
