Dor Elimelech
Post-doctoral researcher

I am a Rothschild postdoc fellow in the Institute of Systems Research of the University of Maryland, hosted by Prof. Alexander Barg.

Before that, I spent a wonderful year as a postdoc researcher in the School of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, working with Prof. Wasim Huleihel

I received my Ph.D. from the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where I was very fortunate to have Prof. Moshe Schwartz (ECE) and Prof. Tom Meyerovitch (Math) as my Ph.D. advisors.

I'm broadly interested in applied mathematics and theory, with an emphasis on (classical and quantum) information theory and statistics. My research mainly falls under the umbrella of coding theory,  probability and combinatorics.
