The Dorchester Fairgrounds are located at
4939 Hamilton Road, Dorchester.

Travelers from out of town, particularly on the Saturday, we recommended approaching fairground from County Road 73 (Elgin Road).

For Saturday shifts - plan to arrive early as Hamilton Road will be shut down for the parade.

Volunteer Venue Info – Many roles are outdoors or semi-exposed, so dress in layers for changing weather. A private volunteer rest area is provided with free food and drinks available all day.

Code of Conduct – All volunteers must review the Volunteer Guide and sign our Code of Conduct. For your first shift, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete this.

Agricultural Barn Code of Conduct – In addition to the general Code of Conduct, Agricultural Barn volunteers must also review and sign the Farm Animal Code of Conduct.
