The nomination said: "Dora exemplifies everything that a teacher should be, professional, helpful and optimistic. Dora was my TA for EC3090/1, Econometrics, and was an exemplary teacher. She explained every topic with ease, she had a level of preparedness that I have rarely seen in my time at Trinity. Her ability to explain complex material was second to none, with nearly every student leaving the class fully comprehending the discussed topic.Furthermore, she never belittled any member of our class, fully understanding and appreciating the difficulty of the subject matter. She helped everyone, even if it was with the smallest of tasks. Moreover, she went above and beyond to ensure we were fully capable to complete the module, staying after her office hours on more than one occasion to assist with our problems. She fully believed in our ability to achieve our desired goal even when we may not have and she helped instil a sense of belief in ourselves. To put short, Dora's teaching was astonishing and is fully deserving of this award. "
