Health Guarantee Contract
We do our best to make sure you take home a happy and healthy puppy. We cannot guarantee a 100% perfect puppy all the time due to hereditary issues or a congenital abnormality. Our dogs and puppies also have not been exposed to any infectious diseases. By accepting the puppy, the buyer accepts the physical and financial responsibilities of ownership of a living being.
Our contract is a 1 year contract and we highly suggest to purchase pet insurance of any kind within the first 2 years of your puppy's life. A written diagnosis by a licensed vet is required for any refund or exchange. The buyer must provide written proof of all vet services performed on the dog before a refund or exchange takes place.
We, the breeder, are not responsible for any transportation expense charges, any other pets or humans the puppy may have come in contact with. Common parasites, fleas, ticks, worms, coccidia, giardia etc. are not cause for a refund of money as they are treatable.
Within the first year from the puppys date of birth, if a licensed vet finds an unforeseen congenital abnormality that is diagnosed to be fatal, we can either refund your purchase price of the puppy or allow you to pick out a different puppy in a future litter. If an abnormality shall present itself, you need to report it to us, the breeder, within 48 hours of the vet diagnosis otherwise the contract will be voided. We will not be responsible for any vet bills, or other expenses acquired by the buyer beyond the purchase price. The buyer understands that a replacement option is only valid when a health problem is attributed to a hereditary fatal problem and not due to an accident or contagious illness issue.
Buyer understands that the ability to reproduce and the following slight genetic defects, contagious diseases or environmental factors are not considered serious or life threatening and therefore is not covered: non-life-threatening cancer, Umbilical hernia, undescended testicle, underbite, overbite or any dental problems, digestive problems, innocent class I or II heart murmur, allergies, skin problems, Stenotic Nares, elongated palate or any eye or ear problems.
Your puppy will be given its first set of shots prior to going home. Even though your puppy is vaccinated, they can sometimes fail for various reasons. If your puppy is exposed to an infectious disease after it leaves here, this is not covered under the health guarantee. We also cannot guarantee that a puppy will not come down with any future diseases, disorders, or health problems that may come from past generations. Buyer understands that your puppy must have all their vaccinations, routine preventative care, and wormings within the first year in order to develop their full immunity. Failure to do so, will void this warranty.
Puppies are non-returnable for any non medical reason after 24 hours. If the buyer is unable to take care of the puppy, we will help buyer find a new home at the best of our ability.
