Donvale has begun preseason training, returning to our home ground of Highfield Park Camberwell. We will be running training sessions every Wednesday evening during preseason, as well as during the regular season.
Preseason sees us return to fitness guided by our coaching staff in consultation with FFV accredited coach Vincent Lam, former player and current coach for La Trobe FC.
We welcome any queries, feedback and suggestions you have for items you would like us to work on with the team to ensure that we can get you prepared as best as possible for when the games come around!
We encourage you to follow us on Facebook & Instagram and join our mailing list to be up to date with all that we have planned this summer!
Donvale's competetive season home ground is Highfield Park Camberwell, with trainings running the same as in preseason. Our home games are also held here when we play on Saturdays.
Highfield Park features two full sized soccer pitches, as well as amenities such as a club playground, barbecue station and cricket fences as we we share the ground with Wycliff Cricket Club and our sister club St Hilary's Football Club
Highfield Park Development Project 2025
The council has developed a new split-level building design which:
is accessible
has improved functionality
creates a better connection between the north and south ovals.
The lower level sits in line with the southern oval, and the upper level sits at road level with Wyclif Drive, facing the northern oval. The height of the split-level building is about 3.5m above car park level. This is an increase of about 2m above the current building height.
The new changerooms provide better facilities for women and girls to encourage more female participation in sport.
These upgrades are in line with our Development and Funding of Community Pavilions – Sport and Recreation Policy and Boroondara Community Plan.
