Don'tTouch ("Don'tTouch", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Don'tTouch handles information when you use the Don'tTouch mobile application ("App").
Don'tTouch is designed as a privacy-first phone protection application. Our goal is to provide security and intruder-protection features while keeping your personal information and security evidence private.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you provide, Don'tTouch may handle the following information:
Don'tTouch may create local security event records such as:
Date and time of a protection session
Protection mode used
Movement or security events detected by the App
Alarm status
Event duration
User-created notes or labels
Other information necessary to display your security history
Security event information is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly use a feature that requires sharing or exporting the information.
When you use a feature that captures security evidence and provide the required camera permission, Don'tTouch may capture photos or other supported evidence.
Evidence is stored locally within the App by default.
Don'tTouch does not automatically upload security photos to our servers.
You control whether supported evidence is exported or shared outside the App.
Don'tTouch may request access to your device camera for security evidence features.
Camera access is used only when required by an enabled feature.
Don'tTouch does not continuously access the camera when the relevant feature is not active.
Don'tTouch may use supported device motion sensors to detect physical movement while a protection mode is active.
Motion information is used to determine whether a supported security event has occurred.
Motion sensor information is processed for the security functionality of the App and is not intended to be stored as a continuous history of your physical movements.
If you allow notifications, Don'tTouch may send notifications related to:
Security events
Protection status
Protection session results
Daily or weekly security summaries
Subscription status
Important App information
You can disable notifications through your device settings.
Don'tTouch may use your device's supported authentication system, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication, to protect the App and Security Vault.
Don'tTouch does not receive, access, or store your biometric information.
Biometric verification is handled by the operating system.
Don'tTouch offers optional paid subscriptions through Apple's App Store.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system.
Don'tTouch does not collect or store your credit card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials.
If subscription management or analytics services are used, limited subscription-related information may be processed by the applicable service provider as necessary to provide those services.
Don'tTouch may use limited technical or anonymous usage information to maintain, improve, troubleshoot, and understand the performance of the App.
If analytics services are used, the information collected will depend on the analytics provider and the configuration of the App.
We do not use security photos or private security evidence for advertising.
We use information handled by Don'tTouch to:
Provide phone protection features
Detect supported security events
Create security timelines
Store and display security evidence
Trigger security alerts
Protect the Don'tTouch Security Vault
Provide subscription features
Process subscription status
Improve App reliability
Fix bugs and technical problems
Understand general App usage
Provide customer support
Comply with applicable laws
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or security evidence.
Don'tTouch is designed to keep security information on your device whenever possible.
Security events, evidence, notes, and related information are stored locally within the App unless you explicitly choose to export, share, or use a feature that requires external processing or storage.
Don'tTouch does not require an account to use the core App.
You do not need to provide your:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Password
to use the core Don'tTouch experience.
We do not sell your personal information or security evidence.
Information may be shared only when necessary to provide a feature or service, when you explicitly choose to share information, or when required by law.
For example:
If you choose to export or share a security photo, report, or other information, the information may be provided to the destination you select.
Don'tTouch may use carefully selected third-party service providers for services such as:
Subscription management
App analytics
Crash reporting
Customer support
Other essential App services
Where third-party services process information, they are expected to handle that information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and their contractual obligations.
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law
Respond to valid legal requests
Protect our rights
Protect the safety of users
Prevent fraud or abuse
Enforce our Terms of Use
Security evidence can contain images of people and surroundings.
Don'tTouch is designed to keep this evidence private and local by default.
We do not use security photos for:
Advertising
Facial recognition
Selling data
Building advertising profiles
Training advertising systems
You are responsible for using the App lawfully and respecting the privacy rights of other people.
Security evidence and event information remain on your device until you:
Delete them manually
Use the automatic cleanup feature
Delete the App
Otherwise remove the information through available App controls
If automatic cleanup is available, you may choose from the retention periods offered in the App.

30 days
90 days
Never
Available retention options may change as the App develops.
You can delete security events and evidence directly inside Don'tTouch.
If you uninstall Don'tTouch, locally stored App data may be removed by the operating system.
If you have exported or shared information outside Don'tTouch, deleting the App will not delete copies stored elsewhere.
If you use a third-party service that processes information separately, deletion may also be subject to that service's policies.
Don'tTouch is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
The minimum age for using Don'tTouch may also be subject to the laws applicable in the user's country.
Don'tTouch is a security and deterrence tool.
You are responsible for:
Using the App lawfully
Respecting other people's privacy
Obtaining any consent required by applicable law
Using captured evidence responsibly
Not using Don'tTouch for stalking, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or other unlawful activity
You should not use Don'tTouch to secretly monitor another person where doing so violates applicable law.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Don'tTouch.
However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because Don'tTouch is designed to store security evidence locally, you are also responsible for protecting your device and enabling appropriate device security such as a passcode or biometric authentication.
Don'tTouch may use third-party services to provide specific functionality.
These services may include subscription management, analytics, crash reporting, or other technical services.
Third-party services may process limited information according to their own privacy policies.
The App's current privacy disclosures and App Store privacy information will reflect the third-party services actually included in the released version.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the App or other appropriate means.
Your continued use of Don'tTouch after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Don'tTouch mobile application ("Don'tTouch", "App", "we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Don'tTouch, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.
Don'tTouch is designed to provide phone protection, movement detection, alarm, security event, and evidence-related features.
The App is provided for personal security and protection purposes.
Don'tTouch is not a replacement for:
Physical security
Device insurance
Law enforcement
Emergency services
Professional security services
Theft recovery services
Don'tTouch is a security and deterrence tool and does not guarantee that a phone will not be:
Lost
Stolen
Moved
Accessed
Damaged
Destroyed
Misused
The availability and reliability of individual features may depend on the device, operating system, permissions, battery level, hardware capabilities, application state, and other technical conditions.
You should not rely solely on Don'tTouch to protect your device or personal property.
Certain device functions are controlled by the operating system and device manufacturer.
Don'tTouch cannot guarantee that every protection feature will operate in every situation.
For example, background operation, camera access, motion detection, alarm behavior, notifications, charging-state detection, and other functionality may be affected by operating-system restrictions, device settings, battery conditions, or other factors outside our control.
Don'tTouch does not claim to detect or photograph every failed system passcode attempt on a device.
Features available may differ between iOS, Android, and different device models.
You are responsible for:
Correctly configuring Don'tTouch
Granting required permissions
Testing protection modes
Keeping your device charged
Maintaining appropriate device security
Using the App in accordance with applicable laws
Respecting the privacy and rights of other people
You should test the App before relying on it in an important situation.
You agree not to use Don'tTouch for:
Stalking
Harassment
Unlawful surveillance
Invasion of privacy
Secret monitoring where prohibited by law
Fraud
Abuse
Any other unlawful purpose
You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of Don'tTouch is lawful in your location.
Don'tTouch may provide features that capture security evidence when supported by the device and operating system.

Evidence may be affected by device or operating-system restrictions
You are responsible for using captured evidence lawfully.
Don'tTouch may provide alarms, sounds, vibration, flash effects, and notifications.
You are responsible for testing these features and using them appropriately.
Do not intentionally use alarm features in a manner that could cause injury, hearing discomfort, panic, or disruption to others.
Alarm behavior may vary depending on device settings and operating-system restrictions.
Don'tTouch may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions.
Available subscription plans, prices, trials, and features may vary by country and may change over time.
Current subscription options are displayed in the App and App Store.
Possible plans may include:

The exact price displayed at the time of purchase applies to your subscription.
If you purchase an auto-renewable subscription, your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID/App Store subscription settings.
Apple handles billing and payment processing for App Store purchases.
Apple's current subscription system supports auto-renewable subscriptions and subscription management through the user's Apple account.
If Don'tTouch offers a free trial, the applicable trial duration and subscription price will be clearly displayed before purchase.
If you do not cancel the subscription before the trial ends, the subscription may automatically convert into the applicable paid subscription according to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase another subscription, where permitted by Apple's rules.
You may cancel an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple account subscription settings.
Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewal but does not necessarily provide a refund for the current subscription period.
Refund requests are handled according to Apple's applicable refund policies.
Subscription features are provided only while the applicable subscription is active.
If a subscription expires, is cancelled, or cannot be renewed, access to premium features may end.
Some locally stored information may remain on the device even after a subscription expires, subject to the App's data retention and deletion controls.
Don'tTouch, including its name, logo, visual design, software, content, graphics, interfaces, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not:
Copy the App
Modify the App
Reverse engineer the App
Decompile the App
Disassemble the App
Redistribute the App
Create derivative works from the App
Attempt to bypass security controls
unless permitted by applicable law.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Don'tTouch for lawful personal purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of the App or any intellectual property to you.
Don'tTouch may depend on third-party services, operating-system functionality, app stores, payment services, analytics services, or other external services.
We are not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of Don'tTouch from time to time.
Features may be added, removed, changed, or limited because of:
Technical requirements
Operating-system changes
Security requirements
Legal requirements
App Store requirements
Product improvements
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the core functionality of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Don'tTouch and its owners, developers, affiliates, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
This includes, to the extent permitted by applicable law, losses relating to:
Device theft
Device loss
Unauthorized access
Missed security events
Failed evidence capture
Alarm failure
Data loss
Device damage
Hardware failure
Operating-system restrictions
Battery depletion
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Don'tTouch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
The App will always be available
Every protection event will be detected
Every incident will be recorded
Every photo or evidence item will be captured
Alarms will always activate
The App will operate without interruption
The App will work identically on every device
The App will prevent theft or unauthorized access
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Don'tTouch and its owners, developers, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
Your unlawful use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your misuse of captured evidence
Your violation of another person's rights
Your violation of applicable law
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will include a new "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of Don'tTouch after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to the entity operating Don'tTouch, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region.
