Don’t Quote Me is a Chrome extension that helps users calculate, organize, and save apartment leasing quotes. The extension runs entirely on the user’s device.
The developer of Don’t Quote Me does not collect, receive, transmit, or have access to any user data.
The extension may store information that the user enters, including:
Prospect names
Apartment or unit numbers
Monthly rent amounts
Lease start dates and lease terms
One-time and recurring fees
Concessions and estimated move-in totals
User preference settings (theme, default fees, etc.)
All information is stored locally in the user’s Chrome browser using Chrome’s chrome.storage.local API.
The extension does not send any quote data, settings, or other information to the developer’s servers or to any third parties.
Information is used exclusively on the user’s device to:
Calculate estimated leasing costs
Generate move-in quotes
Save and retrieve quote history
Copy a plain-text quote summary to the clipboard (when the user clicks Copy)
Print leasing quote summaries
When the user chooses to copy a quote, a plain-text summary is written to the system clipboard. This text remains on the user’s device and is never transmitted.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer user information to third parties.
We do not use information for advertising, analytics, creditworthiness assessments, or lending decisions.
Saved quotes and settings remain in the user’s local Chrome storage until the user deletes them or removes the extension (or its stored data). The extension does not automatically delete saved quotes.
Users should avoid entering sensitive information that is not necessary to create a leasing quote.
We may update this policy if the extension’s features or data practices change. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
