This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Coreverse Technologies Private Limited ("Dono Books," "we," "us," or "our"), an Indian company, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information of individuals ("User," "you") who access or use the Dono Books application ("Dono Books Products" or "App"). This Policy applies to all current and future offerings of Dono Books.
By using Dono Books, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

By accessing Dono Books, you confirm that:

You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

Business details: business name, GSTIN, PAN, address, logo, and other identifiers.
Transactional data: invoices, customer and supplier details, products, stock records.
Communication data: messages sent through support, email, or in-app forms.

Device and technical data such as IP address, device type, OS, app version, and activity logs.
Cookies and similar technologies used to improve performance and personalization.

We may receive limited information from partners or analytics providers solely for operational purposes.

Provide, operate, and improve Dono Books services.
Display business data such as invoices, inventory, and reports.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
User data, including invoices and financial records, is retained for a minimum of 8 years to comply with Indian GST and audit laws.
If you delete your account, active user data is removed within 3 days.
Statutory data required by law will continue to be stored securely until the retention period ends.

Cookies and local storage may be used to enhance user experience, retain preferences, and improve functionality.
9. User Rights and Choices
You can:
Access and edit your personal or business details within the App.
Withdraw from marketing communications at any time.
Request account deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
Request correction of inaccurate information.
10. Prohibited Data and Permissions
We do not collect biometric data or access phone contacts, call logs, SMS, or telephony functions without explicit permission. Permissions such as camera, microphone, photos, and media are requested only when required for specific features (e.g., uploading invoices or documents).
11. Policy Updates
We may revise this Policy periodically. Users will be notified of major changes through the App or other communication channels. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.
