Islamic music is religious music to muslims
Islamic music may refer to religious music as performed in Islamic public services or private devotions or more generally to musical traditions of the Muslim world, The heartland of Islam is the Middle East, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, West Africa, Iran, Central Asia, and South Asia, Islamic music is characterized by a highly subtle organization of melody and rhythm in which the vocal component predominates over the instrumental. It is based on the skill of the individual artist, who is both composer and performer and who benefits from a relatively high degree of artistic freedom.'
The point of much music in the Islamic world is, therefore, to express and encapsulate the most important concept of the Qur'an tawhid, or "unity with God Rather" than be transformed and defined by his own art, in other words, man without images of himself can remain more pure and uninhibited from contemplating God.
Islam music has patterns strong, intermediate, and weak beats separated by pauses of various lengths i would say its a duple meter. this creates a praying mood.
