Santa Prisca de Taxco, Mexico

I grew up in northern New Mexico and the wide open spaces and colors of the southwest have always influenced my work. I especially enjoy observing, photographing, and painting nature.

Donna was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico and spends most of her life outdoors. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from New Mexico State University. She has been practicing watercolor painting for more than 40 years, and currently lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She spends her time traveling, exploring old missions, hiking mountains and mesas, and creating paintings from her experiences.
