2026 Read Across America at DALHS!

Hello Conquistador Readers!   The library will be celebrating Read Across America from March 5th to March 6th, 2026!  

🎟️ Daily Raffles
Mrs. Lee, our Librarian, will raffle Raising Cane's Combo cards, stationery, and snacks each day. 

How do I earn a raffle ticket?

1. Get Caught Reading in the library during lunch (either day)
2.  Wear a book-themed T-shirt (Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.)
* Earn a raffle ticket for a Raising Cane’s Combo Card

3.  Participate in D.E.A.R. with your English class and contribute to the Padlet
*  Earn entry into a raffle for stationery and snack prizes

** The Most Improved Readers will receive Raising Cane’s combo cards and also be entered into the raffle for the Grand Prize!

Poster Contest winners and the Most Improved Readers will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing, 

which includes a huge basket of Raising Cane’s merchandise and a Box Combo card!
