Hello! My name is Azur Đonlagić.
I am a third-year PhD student at the Orsay Mathematical Laboratory of University Paris-Saclay, working under prof. David Harari.
My interests include algebraic groups and arithmetic geometry, most notably the study of rational points on homogeneous spaces. The questions which I'm working on as part of my PhD thesis concern Brauer-Manin obstructions on varieties over global function fields.
In addition to this, I actively participate in various seminars and study groups in Paris and the surrounding area, dealing with diverse topics in algebraic geometry.
Before Paris, I studied at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, to which I still have strong ties.
For the last few years, I've been part of a project centered there and led by prof. Sławomir Cynk. Our goal is to understand, in very concrete terms, the relations between periods of certain kinds of Calabi-Yau varieties and the periods of corresponding modular forms.
You can find my contact information (below) and the details of my work on this website.
