FERGUS BURNAND
Fergus is born and raised in London. After finishing a foundation year in Art and Design at Falmouth University, Fergus started his writing career for university magazines at Trinity College, Dublin, where he studied English. In 2020, Fergus received the Leverhulme scholarship to attend the London Film School, where he wrote the original feature THE REAL MCCOY. Alongside his studies, he has worked as script reader, script editor, story consultant, development assistant and production assistant for companies like Revolution Films, Young Films, Mammoth Screen, Sarah Radcliffe Productions, Element Pictures and New Screen. With Donkey Tail, Fergus has written and directed the short film RUBBER LEGS (2024) and the web series IN THE PARK (2024), in addition to the sell-out play SAME AGAIN, which premiered at the White Bear Theatre and was deemed «a fantastically witty show» by Voice Magazine. He also edited I HOPE HE DOESN'T KILL ME and LESBIAN PERIOD DRAMA.
