Lam Tan Hao obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from the Can Tho University (Vietnam) in 2016. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering and advanced materials under the supervision of Dr. Dongyeop X. Oh and Dr. Jeyoung Park at the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), supported by a scholarship from University of Science and Technology (UST, South Korea). His research interests cover sustainable materials and technology, biopolymer-based nanomaterials, and surface chemistry.
Sung Bin Ju obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from UNIST. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials under the supervision of Dr. Dongyeop X. Oh and Dr. Jeyoung Park at POSTECH. He is presently working as a postdoctoral researcher at KRICT (Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology). His research interests include sustainable materials and technology, biopolymer-based nanomaterials, and surface chemistry.
Hojung Kwak obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Kyung Hee University and his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Sciences from Seoul National University. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) under the supervision of Prof. Dongyeop X. Oh. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at Pukyong National University.
Min Jang received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Surrey (UK). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) under the supervision of Prof. Dongyeop X. Oh and is currently an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University. His research focuses on advanced analytical methods for forensic, environmental, and sustainable material applications.
Sejin Choi received his Ph.D. in Organic Material System Engineering from Pusan National University in 2019. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) under the supervision of Prof. Dongyeop X. Oh and later as a senior researcher in the Bio-Chemical Research Center at KRICT. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organic Material System Engineering at Pusan National University, focusing on advanced fiber processing, multifunctional materials, and sustainable polymer applications.
Vu Thi Tuyet Thuy
Thuy is currently a doctoral researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. Thuy previously obtained a master degree in Advanced Materials and Chemical Engineering at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) School, University of Science and Technology and then worked as a researcher at Department of Chemistry, Lund University, Sweden
Truong Vu Thanh
Thanh received a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Technology from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (Vietnam) in 2019. Afterward, Thanh pursued a Master’s degree at the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) focusing on developing biomass-based, biodegradable, and compostable polymers. Currently, Thanh is a PhD candidate at Stockholm University (Sweden) under the supervision of Prof. Mika Sipponen in the sustainable material chemistry group (SUSMATCHEM). Thanh's research interest involves developing lignin-based reprocessable adhesives and polymers.
