Dongkyu Yang

Welcome! I am an economist working on issues in international trade, development, and macroeconomics with a long-term historical perspective. I am an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at KDI School of Public Policy and Management. In Spring 2027, I will join Korea University's Department of Economics. 

I received my BA in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University and my PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado - Boulder. I was a recipient of the Cambridge University Press Dissertation Fellowship (Economic History Association) in 2023.
