• Our primary text will be Judson's Abstract Algebra: Theory and Applications. You are encouraged to familiarize yourself with chapters 1 and 2 before we get started, and should complete the exercises listed below before our first day.

• You should attempt all listed exercises and submit solutions to those with stars. You are encouraged to submit homework in LaTeX. If you're unfamiliar with LaTeX, you can first try using Overleaf; see this for a brief introduction. You may use this homework format.

• Midterm Exam: 9:05-10:35 am, June 26th (Thursday) at Skiles 114 / Closed book / Exam scope: ~ Group actions

• (June 21st) I will be out of town in Week 5, and TA Owen will give lectures instead of me. I have sent you the Zoom links for office hours, so please check your email.

• (July 8th) Today's office hour will be at Skiles 114 (the classroom).

• Final Exam: 1:05-3:05 pm, July 17th (Thursday) at Skiles 114 / Closed book / Exam scope: All, but mostly focused on topics learnt after midterm.
