What is New Vrindaban's Place Meaning?:
New Vrindaban is “The land of Krishna.” It is a spiritual community dedicated to the Hare Krishna faith and way of life. It consists of a Radha Krishna Temple, lodging, cow sanctuary, gardens, spiritual pond, peacock sanctuary, and Prabhupada's Palace of Gold. [4]
It was named New Vrindaban after the Indian city of Vrindaban, where Prabhupada had his spiritual awakening and the possible birthplace of Krishna. [5]
It was established with the objective of exposing the western world to Krishna consciousness and providing a spiritual community of love, worship, enlightenment, inner peace, and love of Krishna. [6]
