Primary Stage.
This is for students between the age of five to twelve and consists of the Grade R to 4th grade. The duration of the same is four to five years. They are usually a set of general subjects such as English, Mathematics, Sciences, and a second language. Under the Constitution of our country, Primary schooling and these five years have been made necessary and compulsory.
