Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Business Administration
The Department of Management Studies organised a seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Business Administration for the II Year MBA students on 01-09-2026.
The session was conducted by Ms. Abeena Angel Rose, Technical Trainer, E-Max Educations, Marthandam, who served as the resource person. The programme focused on the relevance and application of Artificial Intelligence in business administration, providing students with insights into the growing role of AI in the business environment.
The session helped students recognise the importance of AI-related skills in the changing business environment.
Motivational Training Program
The Department of Management Studies organised a Motivational Training Programme for the I MBA students in association with JCI on 21-08-2026.
The training and motivational session was led by Dr. Abisha Kevin, JCI, through an engaging and activity-based session. The session focused on decision-making, goal fixation, steps for effective goal setting, and making appropriate decisions.
The session provided students with practical insights that will support their academic, personal and professional growth.
Seminar & Awareness Session on Logistics & Supply Chain Management
The Department of Management Studies, in association with Frontline Academy, Thiruvananthapuram, organised a Seminar & Awareness Session on Logistics & Supply Chain Management for the III BBA and II MBA Logistics Elective students on 19-08-2026.
The session was conducted by Mr. Mahesh K. M., Senior Manager, Process & Operations, Frontline Academy, who engaged with the students and shared valuable insights from his professional experience in the logistics and supply chain sector.
The programme provided students with practical industry exposure and helped them gain a better understanding of the opportunities and professional requirements in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
The HR Club (Ludzie2k26) of the Department of Management Studies & Research organised a seminar for the MBA students on “Interview Tips & Tricks for Freshers” on 10-08-2026.
Mr. Tharick Mohammed, HR Business Partner, Al Thamam Group of Companies, Dubai, UAE, shared practical tips on preparing an effective and noticeable resume. He explained the importance of matching the skills mentioned in a job requirement with the resume and highlighting relevant strengths. He also emphasised the need for students to identify their key strengths and present them confidently during the recruitment process.
The session provided students with valuable career-oriented insights and practical guidance to become more interview-ready.
The Department of Management Studies & Research, successfully inaugurated the PG DOMSSA (PG Department of Management Students' Association) on 05-08-2026.
Mr. N. Nagarajan, CEO of iDynamics Software Pvt. Ltd. and Director of Bitsnpix Technologies Pvt. Ltd., was the Chief Guest. He shared valuable insights from his entrepreneurial journey, motivating students to embrace innovation, leadership, and lifelong learning.
The newly elected PG DOMSSA office bearers were formally introduced during the programme. The event marked the beginning of an active and engaging academic year for PG DOMSSA. .
A seminar on "Data Analytics using Power BI" was organized for III BBA students on 15-07-2026. The session was conducted by Ms. R. Abisha and Ms. J. Sharthiya Farhina, Technical trainers from E-MAX Computer Education, Marthandam.
The seminar introduced students to the fundamentals of Power BI, focusing on data visualization, dashboard creation, and business analytics. The interactive session provided practical insights into how data-driven decision-making supports modern business organizations.
The UG DOMSSA of the Department of Management Studies was inaugurated on 10-07-2026
The programme was graced by Mr. Deepu T. A., Founder and Managing Director of TA Group as the Chief Guest, who delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to develop leadership, communication, and professional skills.
The event marked the beginning of the department's student association activities for the academic year, providing a platform for students to enhance their talents through academic, professional, and co-curricular initiatives.
The Department of Management Studies (DOMS) at Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam, affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, was proposed keeping in view today's dynamic business environment and the consequent need to develop unique, young management talent to work in this business environment since 2000.
Established with a vision to foster leadership, analytical thinking, and social responsibility, the department offers undergraduate (BBA) and postgraduate programs (MBA) in Business Administration and Management that combine academic rigor with real-world exposure.
