The Department of Management Studies successfully conducted the DOMSSA UG Inauguration for the academic year 2023-24

ORIENTATION PROGRAM
The Department of Management Studies organized a three-day Orientation Program. The sessions were conducted by Adv. G. N. Praveen, Advocate/Trainer, INMO.
The resource person shared valuable insights on soft skills and personality development, specially designed for the final year MBA students. His engaging sessions highlighted the importance of effective communication, confidence building, and self-improvement in today’s competitive business world.

SEMINAR PROGRAM
The Department of Management Studies organized a seminar program for the II MBA students.
The session was led by Mr. S. Narayanan, Manager, The Hindu Publishing Pvt. Ltd., Madurai. He shared valuable insights on the usage and effective utility of business dailies, highlighting how students can enhance their knowledge and stay updated with the latest developments in the business world.
The seminar was both engaging and informative, sparking great interest among students and encouraging them to make business dailies a part of their regular learning practice.

HR CLUB
The HR Club of the Department of Management Studies organized a workshop for II MBA students
The session was conducted by Ms. Jaslin, Business Development Executive, and Ms. Karthika, HR, Wenoxo Technology Pvt. Ltd., Nagercoil. The Finance Club of the Department of Management Studies organized a two-day training program on “Fundamentals of Research Analysis on Equity” for the II MBA students
The sessions were conducted by Mr. Glenn Roger, Director, Finmark Trainer India Pvt. Ltd., Mylapore. He provided deep insights into the current status of the share market and explained the fundamentals of equity research analysis, enabling students to understand practical applications in finance. The program was highly informative and enriching.
MANAGEMENT MEET
The Department of Management Studies successfully organized GLEAMS 2K24 a vibrant and dynamic management event exclusively designed for PG students aspiring to build their careers in business and management.
Mrs. Shajrin Nisha, Senior HR Manager, Voxforem Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Trivandrum, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. J. G. Jaya Prakash (II MBA) served as the Student Convenor, while Dr. P. Prejith took charge as the Staff Coordinator.
This year’s theme, “Battle of Brilliance”, brought together enthusiastic participants from various colleges across the district.

The event was graced by Mrs. Sugertha, Operations Head, Feather Softwares, Nagercoil, who served as the Chief Guest. Mr. Abinash Libin (III BBA) took the lead as the Student Convenor, while Mr. Goldyn Abric Sam guided the program as the Staff Coordinator.
With the inspiring theme “Unlock Your Potential”, YUVA 2K24 brought together enthusiastic participants from various colleges across the district.
