Dominion Dog Training was founded in 2021, but the dream began in 2012, when Head Trainer and Owner, Emma Aguirre, rescued six abandoned puppies. After finding five of them a good home, Emma became interested in her personal dog's behaviors; he would bark incessantly, escape out the door at every opportunity, and become fearful over inanimate objects. Emma searched answers to "cure" these "neurotic" behaviors and sought out every opportunity to learn more about domestic canines. Over the next decade, Emma worked with a multitude of animals, both domestic and exotic, to understand the psychological and biological causes of an animal's behavior. From being employed as a ranch hand and a kennel technician, to working with police K9's and training hunting dogs, Emma studied a variety of working dogs to further her understanding of man's best friend. After receiving her Bachelor's of Science in Biology, Emma established her career as a professional dog trainer, and now helps pet owners better understand and live with their dogs.
