With a population of 74000 and 21% who are under the working age, Dominica has an unemployment rate of 13.04. The unemployment rate in Dominica highlights structural challenges in the labor marker. Youth unemployment needs to be adressed as it may lead to a lot of migration. Also, since Dominica is reliant on tourism their could be job fluctuations throughout the year leading to seasonal unemployment.
The World Bank hasn't come out with a specific Gini coefficient for Dominica. But, by looking at the average income of the country we can see that the income is lower than the amount they are producing.
