About Me
My name is Dominic C. Lara Hernandez, I've lived in Phoenix, AZ my whole life. I am the last of 7 children, 12 years apart from the youngest before me and 30 years younger than the oldest. Both my parents immigrated to the United States from Mexico in search for a better life. While my parents had a difficult time initially settling in their new environment, by the time I was born both, my parents and siblings were in decent positions in their lives. But I am blessed to have had been born when I was because I have learned many things from my siblings and parents since they are much older and better informed of the hardships that accompany life. I owe any and all of my success and achievements to my family for supporting and pushing me in the right direction.
I began my interest in guitar when I was in the 7th grade but prior to that I was more so disinterested in ever picking up the guitar. The same year that guitar opened up as a program in my grade school was the year that I took the class. I chose guitar as a class because some of my friends were taking the class and I wanted to hang out with them. After about a week of the class I began to enjoy learning to play the instrument; later that year my brother gifted me a guitar and to this day guitar is one of my favorite hobbies.
