DomainWatch is designed to help users monitor domain names, view domain registration information, and receive reminders for important domain-related dates.
This Privacy Policy explains what information DomainWatch handles and how it is used.
DomainWatch does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal profile information such as your name, address, or phone number.
The app may process the following information:
Domain names you add to the app
Domain registration data returned by WHOIS/RDAP services, such as expiry dates, registrar names, nameservers, and domain status
Purchase entitlement information provided by Apple for DomainWatch Pro
Notification preferences needed to schedule local reminders on your device
DomainWatch uses domain information to:
Display domain details inside the app
Track expiry and renewal dates
Schedule reminders for important domain dates
Refresh domain information when requested
Provide access to DomainWatch Pro features after purchase
When you search for or refresh a domain, the domain name may be sent to public RDAP/WHOIS lookup services or to the configured DomainWatch API endpoint in order to retrieve domain registration information.
Domain registration data is generally public information provided by registries, registrars, or RDAP providers. Availability and accuracy may vary depending on the domain extension and registry.
Domains saved in DomainWatch are stored locally on your device. DomainWatch does not operate a user account system or cloud sync service.
If a configured API endpoint is used, the endpoint may temporarily cache RDAP responses to improve performance and reliability.
DomainWatch Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. DomainWatch does not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase status is verified using Apple-provided StoreKit transaction information.
DomainWatch may request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used to remind you about domain expiry or other important dates. You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
DomainWatch does not include third-party advertising tracking. DomainWatch does not sell your personal information.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store analytics and purchase reporting, subject to Apple’s policies.
DomainWatch does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information may be processed by:
Apple, for App Store purchases and subscription management
Public RDAP/WHOIS providers, when performing domain lookups
The configured DomainWatch API endpoint, if enabled for lookup proxying
DomainWatch is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
