Domain Lens Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 6, 2026

Scope
This policy describes the Domain Lens — ExpiredDomains tools Chrome extension, version 2.4.2. Domain Lens is an independent domain-research tool for ExpiredDomains.net.
Information processed
On supported ExpiredDomains.net pages, the extension reads listed domain names and available registration details to display highlights, registered TLD information and research shortcuts. It responds to domain clicks and its navigation keyboard shortcuts. It does not record general typing or read passwords, personal communications or unrelated browsing pages.
Local storage
The extension stores clicked domain names, user-entered or imported research keywords, and appearance and feature preferences in chrome.storage.local in the user's Chrome profile. Keyword files are processed locally. Domain Lens does not use Chrome Sync to synchronize this data. The extension has no developer-operated analytics or data collection server and does not automatically send this local data to the developer.
User-requested external navigation
When you choose a search or research shortcut, Domain Lens opens Google, Archive.org, dotDB or Whois.com with the selected domain or search term in the destination URL. Those websites receive the request, including information normally sent by your browser such as IP address and applicable cookies, and apply their own privacy policies. The Open site link opens ExpiredDomains.net. Third-party services and their availability are outside the developer's control.
Use and disclosure
Data is used to provide the domain-research features you select. Domain Lens does not sell user data, use it for advertising, use it for unrelated purposes, or use it to make creditworthiness or lending decisions. Page data is processed for the current page; clicked names and preferences persist locally. If you email support, the support address receives the information you choose to send, for responding to your request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Retention and deletion
Local preferences and clicked-domain history remain until removed from the Chrome profile or the extension is uninstalled. Clear the keyword field and save to delete saved keywords. Turning off visited colors only hides that display; it does not erase clicked-domain history. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension-local data; independently created backups or files are outside its control. Support messages are retained while needed to resolve the request; contact the address above to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligation.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the extension's data handling changes. Questions about privacy or support can be sent to douzanna@gmail.com. The extension does not require a Domain Lens account.
