This Privacy Policy explains how Domain Age Checker and Registrar Info ("the Extension") handles information when you use the Chrome extension.
Domain Age Checker and Registrar Info does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information about users.
The Extension does not require an account, registration, login, email address, or any other personal information to use its features.
We do not operate user tracking, analytics, advertising tracking, or behavioral profiling through the Extension.
When you request information about a domain, the Extension sends the requested domain name to relevant public domain registry, RDAP, WHOIS, or DNS services in order to retrieve publicly available domain information.
This information may include:
Domain creation/registration date
Domain expiration date
Domain last updated date
Registrar information
Publicly available organization information
Nameservers
DNSSEC status
Other publicly available domain registration information
The Extension uses this information solely to provide the domain lookup requested by the user.
The Extension may use Chrome's activeTab permission to identify the domain of the webpage that the user is currently viewing when the user explicitly invokes the Extension.
This functionality is used only to automatically suggest the current website's domain for lookup.
The Extension does not continuously monitor browsing activity or maintain a history of websites visited by the user.
To provide domain and DNS information, the Extension may communicate with public or third-party technical services, including:
Domain registries and RDAP services
WHOIS services
The official .NP registry
Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS services
Internet Archive services for publicly available historical information
These services receive domain-related lookup requests necessary to provide the requested information.
The Extension does not intentionally send personal user information to these services.
The Extension does not maintain a remote database containing users' personal information.
Domain lookup results are used to display the requested information within the Extension.
The Extension does not sell or monetize personal user information.
The Extension may request permissions such as activeTab and access to specific public network endpoints.
These permissions are used only to provide the Extension's core purpose: looking up domain registration and DNS information.
The Extension does not use these permissions to monitor users' browsing activity, collect personal information, or perform unrelated activities.
We take reasonable measures to ensure that the Extension handles information only for its intended functionality.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Extension does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
Because the Extension does not require users to create accounts or provide personal information, it does not intentionally collect children's personal information.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Extension's functionality or data practices change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
