Cloud AI ('Cloud ', 'we', 'us', or 'our') Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use the Cloud AI mobile application ('App') and related services ('Services').

By using Cloud AI, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Account information: email address and password when you create an account (optional — guest use available)
Profile data: display name and profile picture if you choose to set them
User-generated content: text prompts, writing tasks, and reference images you submit to generate AI content
Payment information: processed by Apple StoreKit — we do not receive or store your card details
Support communications: messages you send to our support team

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: features used, generation counts, session duration, tap events
Device data: device model, iOS version, app version, language settings
Crash reports: stack traces and device state at the time of a crash (no user content included)
Network information: IP address (used to detect location for regional pricing compliance only, not stored beyond the session)

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not record your screen or capture screenshots without your explicit initiation
We do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, or location in v1.0
We do not collect biometric data
We do not build advertising profiles based on your AI-generated content

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide, operate, and improve the Cloud AI service
Process AI generation requests by forwarding your text prompts to third-party AI APIs (see Section 4)
Manage your account, subscription, and billing history
Send transactional notifications (generation complete, account updates)
Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve features and performance
Investigate and respond to abuse reports and content moderation violations
Comply with legal obligations

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR — EEA Users)

Contract performance: processing necessary to deliver the services you requested
Legitimate interests: analytics and crash reporting to maintain service quality
Consent: third-party AI data sharing (you consent at first launch; revocable anytime in Settings)
Legal obligation: fraud prevention, tax compliance, and law enforcement requests

4. Third-Party AI Services & Data Sharing

Important: We obtain your explicit consent before sending any data to third-party AI services, as required by Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.2(i). You may revoke consent at any time in Settings > Privacy > AI Data Sharing, which will disable AI generation features.

When you submit a prompt in Cloud AI, your text prompt is transmitted to one or more of the following third-party AI providers solely to generate the requested output. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your personal data with advertisers beyond anonymised aggregate statistics.

5. Data Retention

Account data: retained until you delete your account, then deleted within 30 days
AI-generated outputs: stored on our servers for 30 days to allow you to re-access them; automatically deleted thereafter
Prompts: retained for 7 days for abuse monitoring, then deleted (not used for AI training)
Crash reports: retained for 90 days then purged
Subscription records: retained for 7 years for tax compliance

6. Your Rights

For all users:

Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: delete your account and data in-app (Settings > Account > Delete Account)
Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format

For EEA/UK users (GDPR/UK GDPR):

Right to restrict processing
Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

For California users (CCPA):

Right to know what personal information is collected
Right to delete personal information
Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

7. Children's Privacy

Cloud AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. Users in jurisdictions with a higher age of digital consent (e.g., 16 in certain EU member states, 18 in some regions) are subject to additional safeguards.

8. Data Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel via MFA
We conduct periodic security reviews and penetration testing
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within 72 hours per GDPR requirements

9. International Data Transfers

Cloud AI is operated from India. If you are located in the EEA or UK, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA/UK, including the United States (where our AI providers operate). We ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Cookies and Tracking

The Cloud AI app does not use cookies. We use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and request permission before using your IDFA for advertising purposes. You can change your preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice and update the 'Last Updated' date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
