Doing Otherwise has been conceived and developed in dialogue with the HEPHAESTUS project (ID 101095123) funded by the European Union.Â
HEPHAESTUS's research activities, collective reflections with researchers and practitioners, as well as the engagement with arts and crafts, alternative organising, slowness, prefigurative practices, and forms of commoning for socio-ecological transition have worked as fertile ground for the development of this event.
Drawing inspiration from this shared research context, Doing Otherwise extends these conversations beyond the specific domain of craft to open new spaces of encounter at the intersection between organization theory and practice.
Doing Otherwise receives support from the Horizon Europe project HEPHAESTUS (Grant Agreement No. 101095123) and associated partners. Views and opinions expressed on this website and in connection with the Doing Otherwise initiative are those of the authors and organisers only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Research Executive Agency (REA).
