The best ideas are born out of love. Due to my dog, Mame's, health issues, I began researching pet nutrition. I was disappointed by what I learned about the pet food industry so I decided to prepare his meals myself. Because cooking has always been a passion of mine, it wasn't hard to add pet food to my culinary interests. I was inspired to open Dog’s Table when I recognized that others may not have time to research pet food brands or prepare their own treats. Through Dog's Table, pet parents have access to gourmet treats made with whole and recognizable ingredients. 

I'm a cat person, I've always been a cat person. When the military led me to Oki, I reached out to Cheribums Animal Garden to adopt an elderly cat. Instead, they told me about an elderly, deaf and blind dog named Mame (pronounced Ma-May). He'd been in the shelter over a year and a half and was extremely difficult to adopt because of his poor health. I agreed to bring him home on a trial basis. But he immediately stole my heart with his quirkiness and tendency to bump into things. He inspired my small business and taught me that "adopt don't shop" also applies to elderly furbuddies - they deserve a forever home, too. Mame spent two wonderful years in my home before gaining his wings in January 2023.
