Meet your Pet Stylist

Ashley Lawrence

Hello!

My name is Ashley and I am a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park where I received my Bachelor's in Animal Care and Management.

I have over 5 years experience in Companion Animal Care along with 1.5 years of pet grooming experience. Furthermore, I am a board member of the Maryland Professional Pet Grooming Association! At MDPPGA, we work to unite professional groomers to promote high standards of care through continuing education, community building, and advocating for the pet grooming industry.

In addition to my professional work, I have hands-on experience in dog training and service-dog advocacy. I volunteered with Fidos for Freedom in Laurel, MD, helping to educate the community about the vital role service dogs play and the importance of accessibility. During my four years at the University of Maryland, I also trained a service dog named Sparky (featured at the top of each page), who is now in the final stage of his training. He works with clients every Wednesday as he prepares to change someone’s life for the better. I am so proud of my Mr. Sparkles!
