Hello!
My name is Ashley and I am a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park where I received my Bachelor's in Animal Care and Management.
I have over 5 years experience in Companion Animal Care along with 1.5 years of pet grooming experience. Furthermore, I am a board member of the Maryland Professional Pet Grooming Association! At MDPPGA, we work to unite professional groomers to promote high standards of care through continuing education, community building, and advocating for the pet grooming industry.
In addition to my professional work, I have hands-on experience in dog training and service-dog advocacy. I volunteered with Fidos for Freedom in Laurel, MD, helping to educate the community about the vital role service dogs play and the importance of accessibility. During my four years at the University of Maryland, I also trained a service dog named Sparky (who you can see featured at the top of each page), who is now in the final stage of his training. He works with clients every Wednesday as he prepares to change someone’s life for the better. I am so proud of my Mr. Sparkles!

I combine my four-year degree with the hands-on grooming education I’ve received from my mentors to continuously expand my knowledge and skills. I am committed to learning more about grooming every day so I can be fully prepared for each pet I work with. I also strive to educate my clients on the importance of maintaining healthy skin and coats through proper grooming and regular care.
