Jeff came to Delaware after graduating with a music degree from Bloomsburg University in 1993 and played with several outfits.
Initially he joined a band called Sin Limo. Jeff later hooked up with the band Crash and the Weatherman to help them promote their new album recorded at Shatter Proof Studios. Following the departure of their lead singer, Jeff played piano for a blues band aptly called Bottom Line Blues for several years. Later he played for 2 local working groups, Control Freak and Temper Tantrum (feat. Cher's Playground). Finally Jeff joined a jazz trio (drums, saxophone, piano,) until the start of the pandemic in 2019.
Jeff and Matt met shortly after the pandemic ended while jamming in a recurring session of local Hockessin musicians.
Matt has enjoyed musical performance ever since high school, joining the bands Oliebollin and Ottis Foote and the Cystic Legion as an electric bassist, playing contemporary rock.
As an undergraduate, he continued his experience as a bassist with the Rhythm Cats, an R&B revival band, and with other local artists in the Maryland and Washington DC area. In graduate school, he played bass in an originals rock band, Shaving Nancy, and acoustic guitar in a vocal duo booking gigs in and around Columbus, Ohio.
After moving to Illinois, he played bass in Dinner with Strangers, a college rock band with bookings throughout the Chicago area. After Dinner with Strangers, he played in an originals power trio, Chasing the Sun.
David is a great fan of live music and performance. He has combined his love for music and his detailed oriented management skills to help Dog Paw achieve their musical goals.
