DocuMerge shows ads to free-tier users via Google AdMob. The first time you launch the app in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, we show a Google UMP consent form where you choose between personalised and non-personalised ads. You can change this choice any time from Settings → Ad preferences.
Users who purchase any Pro plan (weekly, annual, or lifetime) see zero ads.
All purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment card or banking details. Google sends us only a purchase token and product ID so we can unlock your Pro features.
DocuMerge is rated for Everyone and is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
On-device data (your PDFs, settings): removed when you uninstall the app.
Analytics and crash data: retained by Google for the period defined in Firebase data retention settings (default: 14 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).
Purchase records: retained by Google Play per Google's policies.
You can request deletion of analytics data tied to your device by emailing the address below — we will pass the request to Google's data deletion endpoint.
DocuMerge uses the following third-party SDKs. Each has its own privacy policy:
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, KVKK in Turkey), you have the right to:
Access the data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion
Withdraw consent for analytics or personalised ads at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email ahmetbostancikli@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request — DocuMerge".
If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and surface a notification inside the app on next launch.
