AuraaByte ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Document Scanner: PDF Scan mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

We prioritize user privacy. Document Scanner: PDF Scan primarily processes documents locally on your device. To provide features like document scanning, photo importing, PDF creation, and electronic signatures, we request access to certain device permissions.
Device Permissions & Data Handled:
Camera Access: Used solely to take photos of documents, receipts, certificates, or text you choose to scan directly within the App.
Storage / Photos / Media Access: Used to import existing images or documents from your device gallery for scanning/editing and to save generated PDF files or signed documents back to your device.
Documents and Signatures: Scanned files, imported images, and digital signatures created or uploaded in the App are stored locally on your device storage. We do not upload your personal documents or signatures to external servers without your explicit action (such as when you manually export or share them via third-party apps).

We or our third-party service providers may automatically collect certain device diagnostic and usage data, such as:
Device model and operating system version
Unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
App crash logs and performance diagnostics

Local Storage: Your scanned images, documents, and signatures reside on your local device storage. If you uninstall the App or clear app data, locally stored cache and files may be permanently removed unless previously backed up to external storage or a cloud service.
Security: The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We implement standard security practices to protect data handled through third-party SDKs.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
